Been awhile since I posted. No I haven't been lazy. Quite the opposite in fact. I've landed a couple commissions. One to do the artwork for a Graphic Novel that I hope will be finished and out this summer. The second project is a couple paintings for book covers along with some interior illustrations. And finally a painting to be used as a poster for a B-Movie / Sci-Fi (Or is it Sy-Fy these days) convention. Good times.

The scary part is I was laid off from my day job today. Whilst on the surface this is a good thing since I can focus on getting a job that actually has something remotely to do with art and on getting some freelance work, it's still a nerve wracking feeling having to rely on unemployment benefits to pay the bills until something comes along. Personally I am all for getting lots of freelance work - preferably the kind that actually pays the bills.
